The twelve-chapter book, published by Elsevier, presents an overview of developments in nanosensor usage in pharmaceutical analysis, helping pharmaceutical companies attain more reliable, precise, and accurate analysis of pharmaceuticals. The book includes the manufacturing of sensors for pharmaceutical analysis at nano- or smaller scales and gives simple and relatable designs for the fabrication of sensors.

Prof. Riyad Y. Hamzah, President of the University of Bahrain, received Dr. Shah in his office, who presented him with a copy of the new book.

‘We are so proud to have such fine scholars and are always keen on attracting the best academics who would contribute to promoting scientific research. This publication is extremely valuable and would undoubtedly contribute to knowledge locally, regionally and internationally. It would also enable UoB to improve its QS World University Rankings,’ said Prof. Hamzah.

Prof. Mohammed Mustafa El Helou, Dean of the Faculty of Science, praised Dr. Shah and said that this book contributes to the use of nanosensors to obtain accurate pharmaceutical analysis.

Dr. Shah also said that he was in the process of establishing an integrated nanosensors laboratory for pharmaceutical analysis at the Faculty of Science at the University of Bahrain.

Since joining UoB in 2018, Dr. Shah has published 13 refereed papers in Scopus indexed journals.
