“CHSS” Organizes a Workshop with the Participation of 160 Specialists

The Medical Radiology Program at the College of Health and Sports Sciences (CHSS) at the University of Bahrain (UOB) organized a workshop entitled: “Developments in the Science and Practice of Computer Tomography”, in cooperation with the Radiology Department at Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The workshop intended to introduce the participants to the role of computer tomography in the field of radiological diagnosis.

The workshop was attended by about 166 participants and was presented by Prof. Dr. Abdelmoneim Sulieman, Radiology Professor at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz University, in addition to two academic faculty professors in the Radiology Program at CHSS at UOB: Dr. Essamuddin Babiker, and the first panelist, Mahdi Hassan Al-Sahlawi.

This workshop comes in line with celebrating World Radiography Day which marks the anniversary of the discovery of X-rays, which falls on the eighth of November of each year.
