Bahrain Innovation and Technology Transfer Center (BITTC)

ABOUT THE CENTER

Technology Transfer centers at universities are considered a link between the academic and external communities. Such centers work on protecting new technologies and facilitate the process of incubating start-up companies based on universities’ research results. Which leads to communicating in several languages necessary, being the languages of science, law, business, and industry, to be able to carry out its duty as a medium to transfer innovations from laboratories to the market.

We, at BITTC, help researchers protect their discoveries and determine the invention’s commercialization potential. As an inventor, your journey with BITTC starts by filling out our Invention Disclosure Form to notify us about your discovery, which allows us to start the evaluation process and the effective transfer of appropriate technologies from UoB to the business sector.
