UoB Begins Receiving Papers from the International Conference on Information Intelligence and Innovation 

In preparation for holding the Fourth International Conference on Innovation and Intelligence for Informatics, Computing, and Technologies on 29-30 September, 2021, the Dean of the College of Information Technology at the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Lamia Mohammed Al-Jasmi, announced that the Organizing Committee of the Conference has started receiving working papers and studies since the 15th of current June, explaining that the acceptance notification will be sent by e-mail on the 15th of July 2021.  

Dr. Al-Jasmi stated that “The Conference aims to provide a platform for researchers and industry practitioners to exchange updates in the computing and informatics arena, discuss advanced technologies and innovative research, in addition to presenting the latest results in this field, and anticipating the future of the sector.” 

Participants in the Conference will be discussing several topics, the most important of which are: artificial intelligence, financial technology (FinTech), cloud computing, electronic security, blockchain, big data, innovations and technologies, the Internet of Things (IoT), women in technology, smart cities, informatics, software engineering, communications and information networks, and robotics. In addition to e-learning in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

It is noteworthy that the papers accepted in the Conference will be published in the xplore/scopus (IEEE) database, as a number of research papers presented at the Conference will be selected and their authors will be asked to submit extended copies of their research to scientific journals of international repute. 

The Conference will be held in cooperation with Edge Hill University in the United Kingdom, King Abdulaziz University, Sultan Qaboos University, and the University of Dubai, in addition to the technical support from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET).
