UOB President Receives the Assistant Undersecretary for Shared Financial Services at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen AlMudhahki, received the Assistant Undersecretary for Shared Financial Services at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, Mrs. Nada Ahmed Mustafa, at the university premises in Sakhir on Tuesday February 1, 2022.
The President of the University lauded the role the ministry plays towards the stability and sustainability of the financial conditions and national resources in the economic and educational sectors, particularly during the Coronavirus pandemic, which contributes to achieving sustainable development goals in accordance with the vision and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, may Allah protect him, and in line with efforts exerted by the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may Allah protect him.
For her part, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry hailed the leading and important roles of the national university in supporting the educational process in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She emphasized the need to continue to invest in higher education, scientific research, and human capital, which would drive the education sector towards further development and push for progress and advancement in all fields.
Issues of common interest and ways to enhance joint cooperation to support the plans and programs of the University of Bahrain were discussed during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Manager of the Department of Financial Affairs and Budget at the University of Bahrain, Maryam Ahmed Al-Abbasi.
