The President of the University of Bahrain Receives the Second Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen AlMudhahki, received at the university’s premises in Sakhir on Monday February 7, 2022, MP Ali bin Ahmed Zayed, Second Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives, who congratulated her on the precious royal trust bestowed upon her to lead an important edifice towards building the future of Bahrain’s generations.
The President of the University reviewed with His Excellency the most prominent achievements of the university and its future projects, noting the development plans of the academic programs, the university’s regional and global partnerships and their relation to the requirements for sustainable development, as well as Bahrain Vision 2030 and the executive programs associated thereto. Dr. AlMudhaki confirmed that the university endeavors to graduate cadres with the skills and capabilities necessary to integrate into jobs and professions that are compatible with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, many of which will be completely new to the local and international labor markets.
Dr. AlMudhaki stressed that the University of Bahrain and its specialized programs focus on qualifying youth scientifically and psychologically, and encouraging the spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship, to demonstrate the best of their capabilities, in line with the developments taking place in all fields.
For his part, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives expressed his satisfaction with the university’s future plans and its quest for development to provide the Kingdom of Bahrain with qualified, trained human resources that keep pace with global technological development. He praised the role played by the university in qualifying creative entrepreneurs, capable of transferring their experiences and creations in a distinguished manner in all Arab and international forums.
