The President of the University of Bahrain Receives Officials of World Renewable Energy Network

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen AlMudhahki, has affirmed the university’s keenness to participate in achieving national and international renewable energy goals, in line with the Kingdom’s interest in this sector and its achievements in it.
The President of the University of Bahrain made this statement on receiving a delegation from the World Renewable Energy Network (WREN) in the United Kingdom, on Monday February 7, 2022, led by Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the World Renewable Energy Congress, Prof. Ali Al-Sayigh, and Prof. Riyadh Al-Dabbagh, representative of the United Arab Emirates at the Advisory Committee of the World Renewable Energy Network.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the World Renewable Energy Conference highlighted ways to support renewable energy and increase production to meet the increasing demand for energy and keep pace with the economic growth in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Fouad Mohammad Al-Ansari, the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Mohammad Mustafa Al-Helou, and the Head of the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at the College of Engineering, Dr. Sheikha Haifa bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa.
The two parties discussed the common vision regarding energy development and ways to enhance cooperation between the university and the world renewable energy network in the field of scientific research, exchange of experiences, organizing training workshops, and international forums on renewable energy.
