Lauding the Scientific Production of Dr. Al-Musawi, Dr. AlMudhaki Stresses the Importance of Measurement and Evaluation in Upgrading the Education System

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen AlMudhaki, stressed the importance of measurement and evaluation in improving educational and academic performance and upgrading the educational system, noting the impact of positive evaluation processes on all parties of the educational process.

Dr. AlMudhaki made this statement on receiving Dr. Noaman Saleh Al-Musawi, Professor of Measurement and Evaluation, Department of Psychology, College of Arts, University of Bahrain. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Musawi presented Dr. AlMudhaki his recent scientific publications in the field of measurement and evaluation.

Dr. Al-Mousawi has recently published a book entitled “Measurement and Evaluation in Physical Education”, which reviews the best practices adopted in measurment and evaluation of sports and physical performance.

The president of the university lauded the research of Dr. Al-Musawi and his publications, which reflect his deep experiences in teaching courses of educational measurement and evaluation. She stressed the importance of providing the national and Arab library with more resources in the said fields.

For his part, Dr. Al-Musawi thanked the President of the University for the warm welcome, and her constant encouragement of publications and scientific research in various humanitarian and applied sciences.

It is worthy to note that Prof. Noaman Al-Musawi, holder of PhD from the Institute of General Pedagogies, Moscow, Soviet Union, 1988, has taught measurement and evaluation courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students of various scientific and academic disciplines.
