The President of the University of Bahrain Discusses with Omani Embassy Chargé d’Affaires the Development of Scientific Cooperation

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen AlMudhaki, discussed with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Balushi and Minister Plenipotentiary Hilal bin Mohammad Al-Sindhi, ways of joint scientific and research cooperation between the two brotherly countries. The two parties stressed the strength of brotherly ties and the solid relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman, appreciating the continuous efforts to strengthen relations between them under the wise leaderships of both countries.
The president of UoB made this statement during the reception of the representatives of the Omani Embassy on Thursday February 3, 2022 at the university premises in Sakhir. Dr. Al-Mudhadhi stressed the importance of joint scientific and research cooperation between the University of Bahrain and Omani universities, in a manner that would serve the common Gulf issues in particular, and regional and global issues in general. She indicated that UoB seeks to increase student and academic exchanges, to strengthen scientific ties and exchange experiences and knowledge.
For his part, Ambassador Dr. Al Balushi stressed his country’s keenness to develop relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields. He also lauded the efforts of UoB in promoting and developing higher education in the Kingdom, and its keenness on academic and research cooperation with the concerned institutions in the Sultanate of Oman, for the benefit of both countries.
During the meeting, a number of issues of common interest were reviewed, and more opportunities for educational and scientific cooperation and exchange of experiences between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman were discussed.
