The President of the University of Bahrain Receives Timothy Mescon, the Executive Vice President of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen AlMudhaki, received Timothy Mescon, the Executive Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Africa at the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of International Business (AACSB), in the presence of the Dean of the College of Business Administration, University of Bahrain, Prof. Hatem bin Mahmoud Al-Masry, on Thursday March 3, 2022 at the university premises in Sakhir.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Middle East Conference of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), held at UoB on 2-3 March. The President of the University welcomed the Executive Vice President and the Dean of the College of Business Administration, University of Bahrain, and thanked them for their tireless efforts, which contributed to the organization of a distinguished and successful conference.

For his part, the Executive Vice President of the Association expressed his happiness that UoB held this conference, and lauded the warm and hospitable reception the delegation of the Association and the participants got.

The Dean of the College of Business Administration, University of Bahrain stressed the importance of quality assurance and academic accreditation in higher education and its role in comprehensive development, and exchanging experiences and expertise.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Hessa Mubarak Al-Fadhel, Assistant Professor, Department of Accounting and Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Office, College of Business Administration, University of Bahrain, and Ihsan Zakri, Regional Head of Middle East and Africa at the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
