Pearson Chooses the Head of the Department of Integrated Sciences at UoB as a Consultant in Digital Higher Education

Pearson PLC has chosen the head of the Department of Integrated Sciences of the College of Health and Sport Sciences at University of Bahrain, Dr. Rabab Asghar Abdul Wahab, as an educational consultant in the international community for digital consultancy of higher education.

Dr. Abdulwahab stated, “The international community for digital consultations of higher education includes many lecturers, librarians, and heads of departments in higher education institutions all over the world.”

Dr. Abdulwahab explained that she has been chosen based on her experience in employing digital technology in the educational process for more than ten years, and her contribution to providing constructive feedback that helped develop digital education resources and meet the challenges of teaching and learning.

The international community for digital consultations of higher education aims to address gaps in digital education resources provided by Pearson for institutions of higher education. Members of the community review virtual educational materials, provide their feedback on educational materials, conduct surveys to find out points of view of academians, choose the best of these materials and identify students’ behavior and attitudes towards the materials with the aim of developing these materials.

It is worth noting that Pearson PLC, which is based in London, is the world’s leading learning and publishing in the world.
