The University of Bahrain Introduces its Students to the Theory of “Games” in its Economic Dimension

The University of Bahrain will host the Commercial Counsellor to the Turkish Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Foreign Trade Specialist in the Turkish Ministry of Economy, Dr. Güzin Bayar, On Monday March 28, 2022. The guest will give an interactive lecture entitled “Game Theory”.
Game Theory is a theory based on a mathematical analysis of the positions of the parties in cases of conflict of interests, to reach solutions that are satisfactory to all. The theory has applications in various sciences such as economics, sociology, politics, computer science and others.
Dr. Bayar will discuss many topics in the lecture organized by the Department of Economics and Finance, College of Business Administration, university of Bahrain, including delving deeper into the concept of game theory, presenting the structure and purposes of the theory, defining the theory’s branches and when to use each of them. Dr. Bayar will also explain the similarities and differences between game theory and decision theory and the uses of each of them.
The lecture, which will be presented by the faculty member of the College of Business Administration, Dr. Sarah Mohammad Al-Faihani, will be held at 12 p.m. in Hall No. (101) of the E-Learning Center in the University premises in Sakhir.
