On the occasion of her selection amongst the Arab Artificial Intelligence Experts The President of the University of Bahrain Receives the Head of the Computer Engineering Department

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahki, stressed on the importance of appearing internationally, for the clear evidence of the advanced scientific capabilities of the University of Bahrain.
This came during the reception of the Head of the Computer Engineering Department, Dr. Fatema Abdul Qader Al Balooshi, by the President of the University on Monday (April 4, 2022) at the University Headquarters in Sakhir, on the occasion of her selection by the MIT Technology Review Arabia magazine, amongst the most prominent Arab artificial intelligence experts for the year 2022. The meeting touched upon the importance of artificial intelligence and its great role in all aspects of life.
From her part, Dr. Al Balooshi thanked the gesture of the University President of receiving her, noting that these meetings give academics a great moral boost, which contributes to the continuity of their research and teaching giving.
The list of the most prominent Arab artificial intelligence experts – which was issued for the first time – included the 30 most prominent Arab figures in the field of artificial intelligence in the public, private, and academic sectors, at the level of the Arab world.
