The University of Bahrain Reviews Systems of Postgraduate Studies in a Student Meeting

The Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at the University of Bahrain, Dr. Athra Sayed Abbas Al-Musawi, stated, “The meetings organized periodically by the Deanship for its students serve as a link between students and officials of colleges concerned with postgraduate programs, and help solve problems and overcome obstacles.”
In an open meeting recently organized by the Deanship with graduate students, Dr. Al-Moussawi confirmed that the university is keen to know students’ views on various academic affairs, encourage constructive discussions with officials of postgraduate programs, and build mutual trust.
The meeting reviewed several topics, the most important of which are the requirements for postgraduate studies, and the university’s postgraduate studies system. Dr. Al-Moussawi urged students to continuously follow up with the coordinators of postgraduate studies in the colleges and follow up their academic progress through their university electronic accounts to find out the latest developments.
It is worthy to note that the University of Bahrain offers 43 postgraduate programs in various disciplines in seven Colleges, 34 of which are masters programs and 9 of which are PHD programs.
