Receiving A Copy of Dr. Al-Abyooki’s Thesis and Commending Her Research Effort The President of UoB Calls for Adapting Technology to Enhance Innovative Performance

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, stressed the importance of adapting technology and communication platforms to enhance innovative performance in various dimensions, especially in the educational and academic aspects.
The President received the faculty member in the Department of Media, Tourism and Arts, Dr. Samar Adel Al-Abyooki on Tuesday (2 August 2022), who gave her a copy of her thesis that she wrote for a doctorate degree at the Arabian Gulf University.
Dr. Al-Mudhahka praised Dr. Al-Abyooki’ efforts in her thesis titled: “The Impact of Using Social Media on Innovative Performance: A Field Study on Workers in the Media Sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain,” calling for increasing studies related to the effects of digital media, and ways to benefit from it in various aspects of national development.
She also mentioned the University’s keenness to encourage scientific research in the creative and innovative fields, as stimulating innovation and entrepreneurship is one way to empower the strategic plan of UoB.
On the other hand, Dr. Al-Abyooki thanked the University President for the warm reception, and her constant encouragement of research activity in various humanitarian and applied fields.
