Seeking To Achieve Its Strategic Objectives UoB Discusses Joint Cooperation with Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University

The Vice President of the University of Bahrain (UoB) for Academic Programs and Graduate Studies, Dr. Mohammed Reda Qadir, stated that: “The University of Bahrain is in the process of studying a number of areas for cooperation in academic programs and research centers, in preparation for their inclusion in a memorandum of cooperation and understanding that is expected to be signed with Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”.
Dr. Qadir visited Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University last week, where he met with the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ghazi bin Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi, and discussed with him ways cooperation to achieve twinning between the two universities. Stressing that this twinning is in the interest of both universities in terms of developing academic performance, the quality of outputs and revitalizing the movement of scientific research and publishing.
Moreover, Dr. Qadir explained that this endeavor falls within the work to achieve the UoB’s strategic goals, in a way that contributes to the development of academic performance. He added that UoB is also working to achieve sustainable development goals as well, through fruitful partnerships that contribute to the development of academic programs.
Furthermore, Dr. Qadir stated: “The University of Bahrain continuously monitors the programs of the colleges, to ensure their quality, and to verify the application of international standards, and proposes new programs that are compatible with the labor market requirements, through faculty members development programs, following up on academic promotions and their systems, developing academic university systems and regulations, and introducing new systems that meet the requirements of the desired development.
