The University of Bahrain Discusses with the Bahrain Pharmacists Society Organizing a Specialized Conference in 2023

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahki, stressed the importance of continuing education in the health sector. She inducated the role of the University of Bahrain and the College of Health and Sport Sciences in providing knowledge, research skills and values in the field of health services, and providing the labor market with qualified cadres in the field of pharmacy, capable of taking responsibility and committed to professional ethics.

Dr. Al-Mudhaki lauded the idea of the Bahrain Pharmacists Society to organize a conference and exhibition on the future of pharmacy in Bahrain and the Arab Gulf next year (2023), stressing the importance of conferences as one of the important scientific platforms that the university focuses on, given that pharmacy is one of the disciplines in high demand by the students at the College of Health and Sport Sciences.

The President of the University made this statement while receiving the Chairperson of the Bahrain Pharmacists Society Rehab Al Noaimi, Vice Chairperson Adel Sarhan, Secretary Khamsha Al Mukhadhabi, and members of the Board of Directors, Fahmedah Mohammed and Omar Suleiman, on Wednesday (September 28, 2022) at the premises of the Society in Sakhir.

The Society’s Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Rehab Al Noaimi, reviewed all the steps taken to organize the specialized conference, and reviewed some training programs and specialized workshops held by the Society in collaboration with local authorities, to contribute to raising the scientific level and efficiency of the pharmacists’ cadre, to ensure the quality of pharmaceutical services, and to improve the system of health care and the public health.
