In A Workshop Attended by UoB’s Students of Art and Graphic Design Commercial Expert: The Public’s Increased Awareness of an Institution’s Trademark Confirms the Product’s Popularity

Member of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Eng. Khalid Ali Salem, confirmed that “The public’s increased awareness of the trademark indicates its popularity, or its worthiness for attention and popularity, and thus encourages the public to use it”. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of (BCGCM) Bahrain, Eng. Khalid Salem, spoke to students of the “Logo Design and Institution Identity” course, from the Department of Tourism, Media and Arts at UoB, in a workshop titled: “The Comprehensive Approach to Trademark Management”, organized by the Media Center at the University of Bahrain (UoB)
Salem explained the difference between branding and marketing, reasons for investing in branding and design, trademark ideals, tangible and intangible experiences of the trademark, trademark governance in the business sector, unifying corporate and trademark strategies, and most used strategies for determining a trademark’s position in the market, in addition to the trademark main stakeholders.
It’s worth noting that this workshop is part of a series of workshops organized by the Media Center at UoB, under the supervision of the Center Director, Dr. Mazen Mohammed Ali. The Media Center is scheduled to organize five other workshops, in the first semester of the academic year 2022-2023, under different titles: “Video Production and Editing, Tips in Photography for Beginners, Using the Design Program (Adobe Premiere), Risk-taking, and the Effects of Adobe Dreamweaver “. These workshops aim to develop students’ knowledge and enrich their skills with practical aspects that qualify them for the labor market in the fields of media and design.
