The Vice President of Academic Programs and Graduate Studies at the University of Bahrain (UOB), Dr. Mohammed Reda Qadir, confirmed that the University has completed its preparations for the final exams for the second semester of this year 2021/2022, for both attendance and electronic exams.
He explained that the University has set up all the proper conditions for holding the exams, which will start as of next Saturday (May 28, 2022) and it is ready in all related aspects, while the schedules were issued showing the students the locations of the halls and classrooms in which the exams will be held.
In the same context, Dr. Qadir announced that open computer laboratories were allocated at the College of Information Technology for students who will take their exams in person and remotely with short gaps of time between them, so the students wouldn’t waste time, and there won’t be any confusion in transitioning between the two examination methods. The same applies to the University’s headquarters in Isa Town and Salmaniya, stressing that the laboratories are equipped with computers, connected to the Internet, and all is set for the exams to be held as required.
It is noteworthy that all UoB’s halls, laboratories and classrooms are on Google Map, and the students can easily find their locations. The University placed clear guiding signs for students, showing all the sites where exams are held.
Moreover, UoB has recently issued a statement explaining how the final exams are held for the second semester of the academic year 2021/2022, in which the integration between attendance and electronic exams is done depending on the nature of the course materials, the colleges’ readiness to receive students, and the setting all conditions for holding the exams there.
Dr. Qadir encouraged students to fully prepare for the exams, stressing that the University will ensure the appropriate environment is created for these exams, stating: “We are close to the student community through the “Student Service Center”, as it refers all the student’s observations and suggestions to us, and we work immediately to implement them to achieve the desired goals, and this applies to the topic of final exams as well, as the University Administration places its utmost interest in providing a distinguished educational experience and education for all its students.
