Highlighting The Kingdom’s Health and Sports Achievements UoB Is Preparing to Launch the First Gulf Conference on Health and Sports Care, With the Participation of Elite Experts and Academics

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, confirmed that the first Gulf Conference on Health and Sports Care reflects the honorable march witnessed by the sports field and the health care sector, represented in the fields of nursing and allied health sciences in the Kingdom of Bahrain, thanks to the supreme patronage of His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great king of the country, and the permanent support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in continuing to improve the health sector in the Kingdom, and advancing sports sciences and sports medicine. Indicating that the high care that these sectors have has contributed to making the Kingdom of Bahrain the focus of attention of the world in the aspects of health and sports.
As UoB signed a joint cooperation contract to organize the first Gulf Conference on Health and Sports Care, in cooperation with Education Plus Company, on Wednesday (March 22, 2023), in the framework of continuing work to improve the educational sector in the health and sports aspects in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The contract was signed by UoB’s President, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, and the General Manager at Education Plus, Dr. Amin Abdullah.
Dr. Al-Mudhahka explained that the First Gulf Conference on Health and Sports Care will considerably shed light on the health and sports achievements that the Kingdom has achieved in the past period, especially since the Conference will attract elite experts, consultants and academics from various countries. It will also witness the participation of medical and sports cadres from inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The “First Gulf Conference on Health and Sports Care” will be organized in its first edition, next November, with the participation of elite experts, academics and consultants from the Kingdom of Bahrain and various countries of the world.
It is worth noting that the Conference will be held with the scientific organization of the College of Health and Sports Sciences (CHSS), and all scientific details will be announced during the coming period.
For his part, Dr. Amin Abdullah, expressed his pride in organizing the Conference in cooperation with UoB, through the Company’s supervision over organizing the Conference, and a number of other aspects, stating that this Conference will be a continuation of a series of successes achieved by the Kingdom in the past period, through hosting regional and international medical conferences, which confirms the high capabilities that the Kingdom possesses in organizing various major events. Furthermore, he explained that the Company will work hand in hand with UoB, in order to have the Conference in the best organizational image, while fully benefiting all participants.
