The President of UoB Discusses Prospects for Cooperation with LUISS University

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of research with a delegation from the Italian LUISS University, stressing the importance of exchanging scientific expertise, benefiting from the experiences of ancient universities in supporting scientific research, and developing academic reality in higher education.

This came during a meeting between Dr. Al-Mudhahka and a delegation from LUISS University, on Monday (May 15, 2023), at the University’s headquarters in Sakhir, which included the University President, Prof. Dr. Andrea Principi, and the University Vice President for Internationalization, Prof. Dr. Raffaele Marchetti.

Dr. Al-Mudhahka reviewed the University’s programs that contribute to discovering youth talents, shaping diverse cultures, keeping pace with scientific and technical developments, developing students’ creative abilities, and supporting them in achieving academic excellence.

For his part, the President of LUISS University welcomed cooperation with UoB in the fields of academic exchange and student exchange programs, praising the fruitful educational efforts at UoB.

From UoB, the meeting was attended by the Vice President for Academic Programs and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Mohammed Reda Qader, the Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Salah Mohammed Ahmed, the Head of the Accounting Department at the College of Business Administration, Dr. Abdullah Khaled Al-Jalahma, the Head of the Private Law Department at the College of Law, Dr. Wafaa Yaqoub Janahi, and the Assistant Professor at the College of Information Technology Dr. Amal Mohammed Al-Rayes.
