The President of the University of Bahrain Welcomes Collaboration with Technology Institutions in China to Provide an Integrated Educational Experience

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, received a delegation from the Hikvision company, headed by Richard Ni, the Regional Director of the Education Sector in Hikvision for the Middle East and Africa, in the presence of the Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ni Ruchi, on Thursday May 25, 2023.

 

Dr. Al-Ansari stressed that the University of Bahrain is keen to collaborate with technological institutions to provide an integrated educational experience, which would contribute to strengthening and developing collaboration with educational institutions to support the education process in Bahrain and achieve the goals of sustainable development. He noted that this collaboration leads to development of scientific research and innovation and supports the academic process in the University of Bahrain.

 

For his part, the Regional Director of the Education Sector at Hikvision for the Middle East and Africa expressed his happiness at building bridges of collaboration with the University of Bahrain and welcomed the conclusion of agreements aimed at transferring technology in a way that would contribute to provision of high-quality educational programs to University of Bahrain affiliates.

 

The meeting was attended by the Vice President for Academic Programs and Postgraduate Studies and Director of the Confucius Institute of the Bahraini side, Dr. Mohammad Reda Qader, and the Director of the Confucius Institute of the Chinese side, Dr. Gu Qianwen, and the Dean of the College of Information Technology, Dr. Hessa Jassim Al-Junaid.

 

The meeting was attended by Hikvision Vertical Business Manager, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Nicolas Yuan, and Hikvision Regional Business Development Manager, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Othman Mar.
