Discussing Aspects of Cooperation Between the National University and the Council of Representatives The President of UoB and Al-Rumaihi Review the University’s Development Plans

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, and the member of the Council of Representatives, Representative Abdullah Khalifa Al-Rumaihi, reviewed the University’s development plans, and discussed aspects of cooperation between the University and the Council of Representatives.

At the reception of the Representative Al-Rumaihi on Sunday (4 June 2023) at the University’s headquarters in Sakhir, Dr. Al-Ansari noted the prominent role of members of the Council of Representatives in developing legislation related to raising the level of educational services, praising the role of the Council in receiving and training several of the University’s students every semester, in order to complete their practical training requirements.

For his part, Representative Al-Rumaihi praised the University’s development plans, its development strategies, as its keeping pace with technological development, to provide the labor market with qualified young cadres.  Al-Rumaihi also congratulated the President of the University for obtaining the royal confidence in his appointment as President of UoB, wishing him success in his job responsibilities.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest, to enhance cooperation and coordination between the National University and the Council of Representatives, and to have further progress in all fields.
