UoB And the American University Discuss Developing Students’ Competitiveness

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, confirmed the National University’s interest in refining students’ skills and promoting their growth at the academic and professional levels, in to prepare them to attain further success and achievements in a competitive global environment.

This came during Dr. Al-Ansari’s meeting with the President of the American University of Bahrain, Dr. Bradley Cook, at the University’s headquarters in Sakhir, on Tuesday (June 6, 2023), to discuss strengthening cooperation, in a way that achieves the interests and aspirations of the two universities in the field of education, training and scientific research, and develops the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market.

Dr. Al-Ansari referred to UoB’s efforts to continuously improve its educational outputs, exchange experiences, and transfer knowledge with distinguished universities and educational institutions, praising the American University’s efforts in providing students with the skills and knowledge that qualify them to achieve excellence in a highly competitive environment.

For his part, Dr. Cook reviewed part of the development plans for the academic programs offered by the American University, praising the Kingdom of Bahrain’s continuous progress in the educational sector, and its achievements at the local and international levels.

From UoB, the meeting was attended by Dr. Athra Sayed Abbas Al-Mousawi, Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and Dr. Luisla Paolo Balbus, Director of the Center for Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation.

The Director of Institutional Research and Evaluation Department from the American University, Dr. Wafaa Al-Mansoori, also attended the meeting.
