UoB And Standard Chartered Bank Middle East and Bahrain Discuss Aspects of Cooperation

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, received the CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain and the Middle East (except the United Arab Emirates), Dr. Boutros Klink, on Tuesday (15 August 2023), to discuss a number of issues of common interest on the educational and economic levels.

Dr. Al-Ansari noted the role of financial and banking institutions contributing to economic growth, revitalizing the financial services sector, and advancing economic development.

In adittion, he reviewed the efforts made by the National University, including offering academic and training courses in the banking and financial field, and its cooperation with private sector institutions, to enhance innovation and creativity capabilities, and qualify specialized national cadres.

For his part, Dr. Klink praised what has been achieved by Bahrain’s economic vision in terms of competitiveness, sustainable growth, development programs, and the provision of an environment and conditions that support growth and prosperity.

It is worth noting that the meeting was attended by Noora Al Nusuf, Head of Corporate Affairs, Branding and Marketing from Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain and the Middle East.
