The University of Bahrain and the Small and Medium Enterprises Society Discuss Supporting Youth Energies

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, received at the university’s premises in Sakhir, a delegation from the Bahrain Small and Medium Enterprises Society, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society, Dr. Abdulhasan Al-Dairi, who briefed the President of the University on the roles played by the Society and its positive impact on supporting small and medium enterprises, on Thursday August 17, 2023

 

Dr. Al-Ansari welcomed members of the Society and lauded the efforts they exert to create an attractive entrepreneurial environment to encourage Bahraini youth to start their own projects. He stressed that the University of Bahrain supports its students and encourage them to establish their own projects, through the Business Incubator Center.

 

The University President noted the Society’s distinguished role, as a major component of the entrepreneurial environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He pointed out that a large segment of small and medium enterprises, entrepreneurs and university students benefited from the Society’s initiatives, programs, and activities that keep pace with market changes and the needs of the small and medium enterprises sector.

 

For his part, the chairman of the Society stressed the importance of integration between the University of Bahrain and the Society in supporting and assisting young entrepreneurs. He hoped for more collaboration and coordination to support the youth, as this plays a prominent role in the growth of the small and medium enterprises sector, which is one of the most important sectors in the economy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

 

The Society’s delegation included the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Abdul Rahim Abdullah Fakhro, and Member of the Society, Dr. Amin Abdullah.
