UoB Organizes a Professional Program to Develop Students Scientific Research Skills

The University of Bahrain organized a Professional Development Program in the field of scientific research, which aims to support faculty members to develop scientific models and workshops, to develop undergraduate students’ capabilities in scientific research, improve their practices, and enable them to contribute to the production of scientific research.
Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, stressed the university’s keenness to continue providing its undergraduate students with scientific research skills, and upgrading their capabilities in the field of scientific publishing in a way that enhances academic outcomes.
For her part, Dr. Athraa Sabbas Sali Almosawi, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the university, explained that the program included five workshops: the analysis stage, the stage of determining research objectives, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage, noting that the five-day program witnessed great interaction by the faculty members participating in it.
Almosawi stressed that the development of training competencies among faculty members in the fields of scientific research will undoubtedly contribute to improving students research production, which the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research is working to monitor and follow-up.
