18 trainees from government and university employees receive their certificates in the presence of the Chinese ambassador Confucius University of Bahrain celebrates the graduation of the tenth batch of Chinese language learners

The Confucius Institute at the University of Bahrain celebrated the tenth batch of graduates of Chinese language programs, Thursday (March 7, 2024) in the presence of Ambassador Ni Ruchi, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Vice Presidents, Deans, academic staff, and students.
The 18 trainees, including 15 government employees, received graduation certificates of the first, second, third, fourth and sixth levels.
Dr. Mohammed Redi Qader, Vice President of the University of Bahrain for Academic Programs and Graduate Studies, extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the students and faculty members of the Confucius Institute, for their clear efforts in teaching and learning the Chinese language, pointing to the importance of language, as it is a bridge of communication between peoples, promoting understanding, and opening horizons for cultural and scientific exchange.
The closing ceremony included a segment on the experience of Chinese calligraphy with the students of the Institute, in addition to a musical performance that included Chinese playing (qanun – zithhar).
