The University of Bahrain recognizes the importance of preparing distinguished graduates who contribute to the advancement and progress of society and meet the changing needs of the labor market. Therefore, the university has been keen to define specific characteristics that all its graduates must possess upon graduation.
These characteristics form a general framework to ensure the quality of academic programs and the effectiveness of curricula, and they also help in evaluating student performance and determining the extent to which they have acquired the required skills, knowledge and competencies. They are also used by faculty members to identify the required learning outcomes for academic programs (PILOs) and the required learning outcomes for courses (CILOs).
This is to ensure that University of Bahrain graduates have the essential elements necessary for success in their professional and personal lives, and to contribute effectively to the advancement of society.
