President of UOB Discusses Cooperation Opportunities in Education and Student Training with Huawei

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, met with Mr. Vicky Zhang, Vice President of Corporate Communications at Huawei International, at the Company’s headquarters in the city of Shenzhen in the friendly People’s Republic of China, on the sidelines of the international Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Competition organized by the Company, and in which UOB students participate.

During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education and student training, and the most important challenges and perceptions in the field of information technology, were discussed.

Dr. Al-Ansari toured Huawei’s headquarters, which included a visit to the research and development center, during which he was briefed on the latest technologies and innovative solutions provided by the Company in various technical fields, including Huawei’s experience in smart buildings, artificial intelligence research applications, and cloud computing.
