UoB Clinic Obtains Permanent License as a Health Facility Approved by the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA)
The University of Bahrain Clinic has obtained a permanent license as a health facility accredited by the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), based on the results of the evaluation of all clinic facilities, in addition to reviewing patient reception and sterilization protocols.
The University of Bahrain pays attention to the health sector, through the university’s clinic in building (S21), and the clinic serves about thirty thousand students, in addition to the university’s employees and visitors.
The clinic is equipped with a four-bed emergency room, a patient transport vehicle, medical and administrative staff that provides professional health services, and two doctors, four nurses, and a number of administrative staff work in the clinic.
Since its establishment, the clinic has activated the principle of community partnership by providing the Central Blood Bank at Salmaniya Medical Complex with blood by organizing blood donation campaigns that are held annually and witness a large turnout from all university employees. The clinic also trains students of the Ministry of Education during the Community Service Week.
