A Professor at the University of Bahrain Co-authored the Book “Studies in Sociology”

Dr. Marwa Mohammad Al-Mulla, a faculty member in the Department of Social Science, College of Arts, the University of Bahrain, co-authored the book “Studies in Sociology” with a professor from Cairo University.

The book, which was recently printed at Al-Watan Publishing in the Arab Republic of Egypt, was co-authored by a team consisting of faculty member at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, Dr. Ibtisam Allam, faculty member at the College of Arts, University of Bahrain, Dr. Marwa Al Mulla, and faculty member at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Badie.

The issues the book addressed included features of change in popular culture, social analysis of human urbanization, the concept of socialization: realistic applications, the concept of chastity between the Islamic vision and social reality, deviation and identity crisis and popular culture and crime.

It is worthy to note that Dr. Al-Mulla holds a PhD from King Mohammed V University, the Kingdom of Morocco, 2018, for her dissertation related to social transformations and education. She has published several scientific research related to the topics of tolerance, counseling programs, combating violence against women, and exam anxiety. She is also an accredited arbitrator in Journal of the Association of Arab Universities, and a member of several community and professional frameworks.
