A Researcher from the University of Bahrain Wins the Award of the Distinguished Student at the University of Kent

Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Mass Communication, Tourism and Fine Arts of the University of Bahrain, Khawla Abdulwahab Al-Hassan, won the Award of the Distinguished Student of 2022, at the University of Kent, United Kingdom.

Al-Hassan got this Award in appreciation of her research efforts and cooperation with her colleagues. Al-Hassan was assigned to establish relations between the University of Kent, NASA and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Al-Hassan is scholarship student from the University of Bahrain to the University of Kent to obtain a PhD in the field of “Using Creative Technology and Senses in Metaverse for Social Cohesion”. “Metaverse” is a term for a virtual digital platform, which is the future of the Internet, according to expert studies.
