A Student Team from University of Bahrain Reaches Final Qualifiers of “Masari” Challenge

A student team from the University of Bahrain reached the final qualifiers of “Masari” challenge competition, within the Youth Governance Forum, which was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sport Affairs in partnership with the Pearl Initiative (Sharjah).
The university team participated in the forum’s activities on Monday and Tuesday 10 -11 October 2022, at the Wyndham Grand Hotel Manama. The team members prepared for the final qualifiers of “Masari Challenge” competition, which is a real challenge and knowledge enrichment activity for the participating teams, as they presented a case study on selected corporate governance practices from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Naglaa Fathi Al-Desouki, Assistant professor at the College of Business Administration and coordinator of the Master of Science in Human Resources program, nominated a diverse team to participate in the competition. The team consisted of five students from the Master of Science in Human Resources and Bachelor of Business Administration programs.
Dr. Al-Desouki affirmed her full confidence in the University of Bahrain’s students’ abilities and distinction to reach this competition’s final qualifiers, wishing them every success. She also stressed the importance of this competition for university students, as it enhances honest competition, refines their analytical and critical skills, and broadens their horizons to get to know about companies in the Bahraini market, through scientific and practical research on corporate governance practices.
