The international scientific journal “Materials Science for the Production of Conductors” published a scientific study by Abdul Rahman Abdul Karim Al-Lankawi, a teaching and research assistant and master’s student in the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, the University of Bahrain. The study focused on encouraging the use of modern nanotechnology in the production of green sustainable energy catalysts at low cost and on an industrial scale.

The study conducted by researcher Al-Lankawi, was titled “Applications of Boron Phosphide in the Form of a Nano-Cage in Supporting Transition Metals to Stimulate the Reaction of Oxygen Release”. The study samples were tested without releasing any kind of chemical waste or environmentally harmful by-products, as it relied on quantitative chemical analysis methods. The study aimed to develop and reduce the cost of using hydrogen fuel, one of the most important sources of green energy, without emitting any greenhouse gases that contribute to raising the temperature, unlike fossil fuels.

Notably, the Journal of Materials Science for the Production of Conductors is an international scientific journal that registered an advanced standard in Scopus that amounted to 6.7 in 2021. Scopus is a database that contains summaries and references from articles published in peer-reviewed academic journals.
