A Study at UoB: The Academic Achievement of Children Who Joined “Kindergartens” Is More Outstanding

A study conducted at the Bahrain Teachers College (BTC) at the University of Bahrain (UoB) revealed that the academic achievement of students who enrolled in pre-school education (kindergarten) is better than their peers who did not.
The study aimed to identify the effects of the pre-school education(kindergarten) experience on academic achievement, especially for the outputs of learning English for first, second and third graders in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The study sample consisted of 402 students from different grades of the first cycle of government primary schools in the governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The research team, consisting of Professor Bani Arora, Dr. Samar Habib Muqalid, and Dr. Musa Jaafar Fateel, published the research in the Journal of Education and e-learning Research, classified within the SCOPUS classifications, under the title “Pre-school Education Experience as Expected Results of Language Learning Among a Sample Of First, Second And Third Graders in Bahrain”.
