Artificial Intelligence and Higher Education at the University of Bahrain

Faculty and staff at the University of Bahrain explored practical ways to integrate artificial intelligence into their academic and operational efforts during a workshop titled ‘Artificial Intelligence Strategies for Higher Education,’ organized by the University’s Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (UTEL).

The workshop aimed to highlight AI capabilities, identify effective AI strategies, ensure ethical AI use, and encourage participants to share ideas and insights on how AI tools can enhance operational efficiency and address challenges in higher education. Additionally, the workshop provided participants with the opportunity to adopt and implement AI strategies tailored to their institutional goals and professional needs.

The workshop was led by Dr. Thajiba Ibrahim Aljowder, Head of the Information Technology Department at the Education and Training Quality Authority.
