College of Business Administration at University of Bahrain Introduces Students to the Ethical Practices of Employees in the Workplace

Dr. Naglaa Fathi Al-Desouki, faculty member in the Department of Management and Marketing, College of Business Administration, University of Bahrain, participated in the “International Scientific Conference Innovations 4.0 in the Post Covid Global World” organized by the Warsaw School of Economics, on 4-6 October 2022.
The conference brought together a group of experts in the fields of management and development around the world.

Dr. El-Desouki discussed the topic of “Ethical Practices of Employees in the Workplace” through her research entitled “Rethinking Public Service: A New Public Administration Perspective.”

133 Master’s students in Human Resources Management and undergraduate students in a final year course of Business Administration participated in the virtual lecture held on Tuesday October 4, 2022, along with a group of international graduate and undergraduate students, aiming to share global knowledge and experience.

Dr. El-Desouki indicated that the lecture worked to increase students’ awareness and enhance their knowledge of inclusion, diversity, gender equality, empowerment, and equal opportunities as basic ethical practices for employees in the workplace. Students also wrote a one-page essay on lessons learnt from the session, to improve their critical analysis skills.
