Confirming Its Role as a Station for Inspiring Youth Programs.. Dr. Al-Mudhahki: Youth Day Reflects the Will of The Wise Leadership in Developing the Youth Sector

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahki, stated that “The Council of Ministers’ decision to assign a day for Bahraini youth is a step that reflects the vision and will of the wise leadership in developing the youth sector, preparing it to exercise leadership roles, and relying on it in various fields.”
Dr. Al-Mudhahki indicated that dedicating the twenty-fifth of March of every year as a day for Bahraini youth comes under the continuous directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, to support and empower the youth as they are the future leaders and pioneers.
Also, the President of UoB praised the appreciation that the youth enjoy from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in various fields. Pointing to His Highness’ initiatives that set the roles of Bahraini youth in the current and future development process, believing in their creative energy and their ability to replenish and innovate.
Moreover, Dr. Al-Mudhahki noted the interest of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, in the youth sector, and his keenness to highlight and empower youth energies, and to emphasize their role in the development process.
Indicating that the Esteemed Government spared no capabilities to empower the youth in various means, as it harnessed its capabilities to give young students and graduates opportunities for development, establishing private businesses, and developing skills, stressing that UoB has been a witness to this by embracing many initiatives and supportive programs for the Bahraini youth.
Lastly, she expressed her hope that the Youth Day would be a station for generating inspiring youth programs, reviewing creative achievements, and demonstrating the exceptional experiences that raise the flag of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in order to maintain the civilizational achievements during the prosperous era of His Majesty.
