Confucius Institute at the University of Bahrain Opens Registration for Chinese Language Exams

The Confucius Institute at the University of Bahrain announced opening of registration for Chinese language tests 2022 for university students and employees of government agencies in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The exams will be held online on March 12, 2022. The registration deadline is March 1, 2022. To date, 14 students have registered for Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), and 15 students have registered for Chinese Proficiency Spoken Test (HSKK).
Tests are divided into two types, each of which consists of three levels. The first test is Chinese proficiency test, which assesses students’ skills in reading, writing, and listening. The second is Chinese proficiency Spoken test which assesses speaking skills.
It is worthy to note that success rate was 73% of those who took the (HSK) test during the years 2017-2021. The (HSK) test was not held in the first half of 2020 as scheduled due to the Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19).
The percentage of male students amounted to 59%, compared to 41% for female students. Bahraini candidates amounted to 59%. In addition, there were students from other countries, including Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, India, the United States, and others.
