Dear visitors of the page of Deanship of Students’ Affairs.
The university stage represents the student’s bridge towards the future and a corridor for practical life. Hence, the vision of the Deanship of Students’ Affairs emanating from the vision of the University of Bahrain was created, in which the student is the main axis, and all its potentials and energies were employed to help the student build his personality and prepare him to take over his future responsibilities in building the nation and society by providing extra-curricular opportunities that enable them to combine educational attainment in the classroom with student work, which contributes to developing and refining practical and social skills, enhancing the student’s sense of giving and volunteering, also preparing them to face the challenges outside the University.

ABOUT THE DEANSHIP
The Deanship of Students’ Affairs strives to provide a variety of students’ services that are concerned with their academic attainment, and their cultural, artistic, and physical preparation.
Objectives:
1. Developing students’ personalities through extracurricular activities, and providing an environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
2. Improving the quality of the general services and developing various counseling services to support the academic needs of the students.
3. Developing the necessary infrastructure to achieve the deanship’s aims to facilitate the services, programs, and activities that it provides.
4. Enhance the national unity spirit.

Provide the suitable environment to create a better university life for students, which will be achieved through performing an integrated role that enhances the learning and teaching processes in the university, providing the means to enable the advancement of student’s efforts and participation on all levels, providing a variety of high-quality programs and services, and encouraging students to be innovative, creative, and add value.

UOB provides different services to support, and help disabled students, which include the following: – Transportation with well-equipped busses from and to the university, in addition to transportation services within the university in vehicles equipped for this purpose. – Providing disabled students with the necessary help and support during the registration period – Coordinate the efforts of volunteer students to help their disabled colleagues during their time in the university and in the examinations period.

This service allows the students to submit their petition to be reinstated after been dismissed from the program due to inability raising his GPA to the required level (GPA 2.00) after receiving two successive warnings or due exceeding the number of courses required to finish the registered program . The student shall upload all supporting documents for his petition either it is medical reports or others reports with the payment petition fee (BD 30). The student can later follow-up his request until all related committees either recommends the approval or rejection.
The Career Counselling Office is here to provide you with advice to help achieve your career aspirations and to equip you with the necessary skills to help you enter the labor market with confidence. The Career Counselling Office also conducts career exhibitions and resume development workshops for you. The office also provides resume development advice.

STUDENT SERVICES
CARD ISSUANCE PROCEDURES:
- During the submission of applications, previously uploaded photos of the new students to the Information and e-Government Authority website will be checked and informal photos will be excluded.
- For excluded photos: The student will be contacted – by e-mail or SMS – to re-upload the photo through the application website at the Information and e-Government Authority or by sending it via the email designated for such matter.
- University ID cards for accepted students will be printed after the students’ admission to the University have been confirmed.
- A special code will be assigned for each university ID card (magnetic card).
- The date to receive the university ID card will be announced via text messages (SMS), on several days and according to the colleges.
- Students will receive their university cards in person, according to the day allotted to their college, and the date of receipt is entered into the Student Information Management System.
This service is provided to the UOB students with limited income, in this service the requests by students are received and reviewed according to the regulations set for this purpose.

Provide lockers for students to keep their books or personal belongings for a small fee.
This service includes the distribution of car stickers for students and their parents at the beginning of each academic semester.

UOB cooperates with INJAZ BAHRAIN to provide a group of workshops aimed at inspiring and preparing the Bahraini youth to succeed in the global economy.
