OVERVIEW

The Department of Financial Affairs and Budget seeks to improve the level of efficiency of performance at UoB, through developing financial strategies and plans of the annual budget of the University, including revenues and expenses, to satisfy all its needs, and carry out its tasks and responsibilities in an optimal manner. The Department is mainly concerned with the financial position of the University and preparing all the financial statements and reports required. It also seeks to improve the quality of work and provide the best financial services for all sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Preparing and controlling UoB’s budget as well as monitoring expenditure and providing related guidelines.
  2. Processing internal and external payments of various kinds.
  3. Collection of revenues and control of the processes related to refunds and donations received.
  4. Committing to targets of the Fiscal Balance Program of the Ministry of Finance and National Economy.
  5. Resource Optimization by highlighting and addressing budget leaks.
