Dr. Al-Mudhahka Discusses with the College of Law Affiliates at the University of Bahrain Further Development and Improvement

On Tuesday 17 May 2022, the President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, held an open meeting with the academians and administrators of the College of Law at the e-Learning Center hall at the University in Sakhir. Dr. Al-Mudhahka welcomed the College’s members of academic and administrative bodies, lauding the efforts they exert for improving levels of education and graduating qualified cadres in the various programs of the College.

Dr. Al-Mudhahka lauded the College’s outputs and its graduates who have held the top posts in various fields for more than two decades. She noted the outstanding curricula and the distinguished competencies that contributed to creating a bright image of the College and its students, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

During the meeting which lasted for an hour, the College affiliates talked about their ambitions to advance the College’s administrative and academic aspects, their proposals for developing and improving work, and their visions for the future of the College of Law in particular, and the University in general. The dialogue revolved around several points, including supporting scientific research, developing academic departments, and further facilitating the academic process.

The University President, the Vice President for Community Service and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Saleh Al-Ansari, the Vice President for Information Technology and Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Osama Abdullah Al-Jowder, the Vice President for Academic Programs and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Mohammad Reda Qader, and dean of the College of Law, Dr. Salah Mohamed Ahmed, answered the questions of the College affiliates.

Dr. Al-Mudhaka expressed her pleasure with meeting the College of Law affiliates, stressing that meetings with the various Colleges and departments aim to strengthen communication and understanding between the various levels of the administrative system to improve performance and achieve the University’s aspirations.

The College of Law, established in 1999, offers a Bachelor of Law, a Master’s in Public Law, a Master’s in Private Law, a PhD in Public Law, and a PhD in Private Law.
