Dr. Al Mudhahka Receives Two UoB Faculty Members Associates of the PM Fellowship Program

On Monday November 14, 2022, the President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, received two of the University’s faculty members who were selected for the eighth group of the PM Fellowship Program. Dr. Al-Mudhahka lauded the program’s role which reflects the visions of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to invest in national cadres and develop government competencies, for the benefit of the country and citizens.

The University President congratulated the research and teaching assistants of the Department of Accounting, College of Business Administration, Moza Ibrahim Al-Hadi and Zainab Al-Alwani, for passing the evaluation stage, wishing them every success during their work in the Prime Minister’s Office.

Dr. Al-Mudhahka stressed the importance of the PM Fellowship Program in raising the level of young national cadres by introducing them to the government’s mechanisms and programs and working directly with officials and decision makers, during their intensive training programs to learn about best practices on research, analysis, and leadership for one year.

It is worth noting that the Office of the Prime Minister selected, according to a set of criteria, 15 employees out of 2,000 applicants from various government agencies for the eighth group of the program.
