Dr. Al-Mudhahki Congratulates Dr. Al-Zayed on Being Elected President of the International Association of Arabic Language Departments

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahki, expressed the University’s pride in its academic cadres who occupy leadership positions in their specializations, both at the national and external levels.
At the reception of the Head of the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies at Bahrain Teachers College, Dr. Amal Zayed Al-Zayed Al-Jalahma, to congratulate her on her election as President of the International Association of Arabic Language Departments, Dr. Al-Mudhahki stated that “This election, which followed the appointment of Dr. Al-Zayed as a consultative member in the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States confirms the high-level academic cadres of the University of Bahrain, who made scientific and research impact in their subspecialties.”
The University President wished Dr. Al-Zayed all success in her new responsibilities, and that the International Association of Arabic Language Departments would see further progress during her presidency, which ends at the end of the year 2024.
On her part, Dr. Al-Zayed thanked the University President, and praised the great role played by UoB in creating the scientific and research environment for its members, which contributes to the prominence of its professors at all levels, and assuming leadership positions in more than one academic field.
