Dr. Al-Nuaimi Inspects the Temporary Student Parking Lots at UoB

The Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, accompanied by the University President, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, inspected the facilities at the University’s headquarters in Sakhir.
During the visit, the Minister was briefed on the University’s plans to create new parking lots, to be added to the current students’ parking.
Moreover, the Minister of Education thanked the honorable Council of Ministers for directing the start of work to prepare new temporary parking lots, and the Ministry of Works, for the rapid response and elaborate work in reception of students for the academic year 2022/2023, which will start next Sunday, corresponding to September 18, 2022.
In addition, the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of UoB listened to a detailed explanation from the University President, Dr. Al-Mudhahka, on the University’s preparations to receive students in the academic year after the interruption period due to the pandemic, as the minister praised the measures and preparations taken by the University in order for the academic year to proceed smoothly for everyone.
On the other hand, Dr. Al-Mudhahka made coordination between UoB and Bahrain Technical College (Bahrain Polytechnic) regarding student parking lots on Isa Town campus, to enable students of the two university institutions to reach their destinations without difficulty.
