Dr. Al-Nuaimi: Vocational Guidance Office Launches Campus Recruitment Program

Dr. Haya bint Ali Al-Nuaimi, Vice President for Alumni Affairs and Community Service, said: “the Campus Recruitment Program has been recently launched by the Vocational Guidance Office.” She confirmed that 25 students from the College of Engineering were interviewed by Schlumberger (a leading provider of technology) at the University campus in Sakhir.

Dr. Al-Nuaimi explained that this program would be a continuation of the efforts exerted by the Office of Vocational Guidance to facilitate the entrance of university graduates to the labour market.

Mr. Ziad Hamoud, Human Resources Manager of Schlumberger, interviewed 25 female students in the fields of civil, chemical, electronic, and electrical engineering in order to recruit more female graduates in the company’s branches around the world, as well as to empower women and offer them greater opportunities to demonstrate their abilities and efficiency in this field.

This initiative is part of the activities carried out by the Office of the Vice President for Alumni Affairs and Community Service to better prepare students and graduates for the labour market and provide the community with the best graduates in all areas of specialization.
