In conjunction with the Kingdom’s celebrations of Bahraini Youth Day “Future Society for Youth” Organizes the “MicroShabab” Forum under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad, with the participation of more than 1,500 Participants

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, the work of the Youth Entrepreneurship Forum “MicroShabab” will be launched this morning, organized by the Future Society for Youth from March 29 to 31 in Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Hall at the University of Bahrain, with the participation of about 1,500 young male and female.
The Society explained that high-level speakers will participate in the sessions and work of this forum, which is held under the slogan “New Horizons for Entrepreneurship”, including representatives from the government, private and civil sectors, in addition to entrepreneurs who will present aspects of their journey in the world of entrepreneurship and the transformation of ideas into projects and successful start-up companies.
The Chairman of the Future Society for Youth, Sabah Abdul Rahman Al Zayani, said that the MicroShabab Forum keeps pace with the royal directives to make 2022 the year of Bahraini youth, praising the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for this forum, and expressing his thanks and appreciation for His Highness’ diligent follow-up to the work of the forum, stressing that the Organization Committee of the forum is working according to His Highness’ directives to produce the forum in a way that lives up to His Highness’ aspirations.
Al-Zayani added that His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s sponsorship of the “MicroShabab” Forum this year gives the forum an unprecedented impetus on its launch path to achieve the ambitious goals it seeks, and to make the largest possible positive impact in the field of supporting Bahraini entrepreneurs and encouraging them to launch their own projects.
Al-Zayani also expressed his thanks to the University of Bahrain, represented by Her Excellency Dr. Jawaher Shaheen Al-Mudhahki, President of the University, for hosting this recipient and providing all the necessary facilities for his work, which once again demonstrates the University’s keenness to support Bahraini youth in various fields. The Chairman of the Society also thanked all the speakers and participants in the forum.
Al Zayani explained that the MicroShabab Forum, with its sessions and workshops, seeks to explore the horizons of entrepreneurship development in Bahrain, and present models for Bahraini entrepreneurs who were able to launch start-up companies that grow and expand continuously, thus forming a platform for dialogue and meeting among Bahraini youth that contribute to transforming them towards entrepreneurship.
Al-Zayani pointed out that the MicroShabab Forum is one of the initiatives launched by the Future Society for Youth in 2013 with the aim of promoting inspiration, innovation and spreading the culture of entrepreneurship in line with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
He pointed out that the society is working to develop this forum periodically, and to ensure that it keeps pace with the latest global trends in the field of integrating young people into the business world.
