Intercol delegates a UOB employee to a Dubai workshop

Zain e-Learning Centre at the University of Bahrain has signed an agreement with Intercol (Canon), by which the company sponsors an employee from the e-Learning Centre to attend a training workshop on the latest technologies in photography held in the Emirate of Dubai, UAE.

The workshop is scheduled for the period 21-23 March. Dr Mustafa Al-Abbasi, director of the e-Learning Centre, said that this initiative comes as part of the University of Bahrain’s strategy to create channels of cooperation with the society in all fields. He added that the University administration believes that it is necessary to invite the private sector to support the University’s ambitions and update its various programmes.

Dr Al-Abbasi stressed that such workshops are essential to enhance the University performance and increase the experiences of the administrative and academic staff. Such activities allow the employees to be acquainted with the newest technologies in photography.
