IT College Discusses Labor Market Needs
The Industrial Advisory Committee of the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Information Technology discussed the most important developments and requirements of the labor market during a regular meeting attended by representatives from the industrial sector and a group of students, graduates and faculty members.
Such regular meetings aim to achieve the strategic objectives of the College of Information Technology, through ensuring that the philosophy and methods of learning and education are in line with the changes in technology, technology industry, the needs of employers and Bahrain’s Sustainable Economic Growth Strategy.
Departments of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Systems at the college have received international academic accreditation from the American Council of Engineering and Technology (ABET) twice in a row.
